Wim den Ronde (IT manager) and Johan Pullen (IT support) work at De Nassau School in The Netherlands and have worked with Dugga for quite some time. They have both met teachers who in the beginning were a bit hesitant, and others who immediately recognized the advantages and started to work in Dugga on a daily basis, saving administrative time distributing and correcting tests digitally.

Dugga has been used at De Nassau for about 2.5 years. The school first signed up for a Dugga Free Trial Account, and later switched to a Premium Dugga License for 3 years. Dugga is being used more and more at De Nassau. The Teams app has made it easy to import students' profiles and manage student administration efficiently. Dugga instantly became an essential and integrated part of our Microsoft software setup.

Tell a little bit about yourself and your experience in education/administration edu platforms?
at De Nassau we started experimenting with Microsoft Forms, then evaluated tools such as Woots, Quayn, and Test-correct. Dugga proved easier to start with and simpler to learn. The orange color interface made us feel at home immediately! The low threshold for getting started with exams was critical. Once teachers had done one test in Dugga, they found it effortless to copy and make new versions for different classes. This feature is a real time-saver.

What do you believe is the best thing about your role in education?
it's satisfying to support colleagues. We have a rolling scheme for training teachers in Dugga and maintain close communication with Dugga's support team, who always respond quickly to our questions.

How has Dugga helped you in your daily work and challenges? What are your favorite features?
wim: As IT-educators, our focus is on helping teachers spend more time teaching and less on grading. Features like auto-correction, re-use of questions and tests, and multimedia support (pictures, videos, audio) are highly appreciated.

In your opinion, which are the main benefits of using Dugga?
auto-correction, multiple question types, ease of use, and a cool interface design.

How do you use Dugga at your school?
primarily for high-stake exams and auto-correcting diagnostic tests. Students with dyslexia can use Microsoft Immersive Reader in Dugga for additional help.

How was the response among your pupils/students and parents?
both groups like Dugga. Teachers appreciate inbuilt warnings for unanswered questions and the clear, intuitive interface.

How are you planning to use Dugga onwards?
some teachers adapted immediately; others gradually. We expect increased usage, benefiting teaching methods through flexibility and standardization. Students complete exams faster, answer more questions, and achieve better learning results. We aim to further integrate Dugga and continue leveraging new features. The platform's Dutch interface was also very helpful.
